New Look!

Dear Kirsten,
I changed the look of the blog - hope you like it. I was feeling springy and green. Green, like Chris Tucker in The Fifth Element? Green.

Today I finished the cat bed and felted it. My goal for the next week is to work on Clapotis as much as I can, and finish Tifany's socks. Then I can knit myself some socks.

Baby steps, Bob. Baby steps.

It's getting close...

...while you are coming closer and closer to completion of your Olympic Socks, I am on the 4th repeat of the Decrease section of Clapotis.

Now it's like a horse heading back to the stable...go, go, GO!

Repeat 9 done.

Just thought I'd update. I still love dropping those stitches. It's addictive: I drop a stitch then suddenly I need to get through the next repeat so I can drop another! Fun!

Have you ever seen the Lorna's Laces Lion and Lamb this was done in originally?? It's unbelievably drapey, soft and gorgeous. I fondle it whenever I go into CloseKnit. YUM.

Will be working on CLAPOTIS for a while here while I wait for the gas-man to come for the THIRD time in THREE weeks. Bugger it all.

But that means I have to stay home and wait for him! Which means...KNITTING!

I've knit about 2 more pattern repeats since the first of the year. I agree, we're pathetic! I'm finishing up that pair of shell socks first, socks for Dad's birthday next...I think I need to work a little on it every night. :)
